How to Print ABS, PC, or PA-CF Plastic on FLSUN V400?

If one prints with ABS (or PC, PA-CF) plastic at standard temperatures of 240-245°C, the print quality is poor, and the speed is slow. This method is limited to printing small components only.

To achieve high-quality large component printing with ABS plastic, the nozzle temperature must be increased to 260-300°C.

Typically, at 270°C, ABS plastic in static conditions quickly absorbs heat and degrades. However, during high-speed printing, heat transfer is limited by time. It is necessary to rapidly transfer the required amount of heat so that the plastic melts properly and adheres well to the previous layer without degrading (i.e., the polymer chains of the plastic should not break).

Therefore, increasing the temperature to 300°C allows for higher print speeds and better product quality.

However, the stock FLSUN V400 3D printer does not support printing ABS plastic at temperatures of 260-300°C due to the following issues:
